I like monero.

It has the benefits of bitcoin decentralization, but also the anonymity of cash, and doesn't have the speed limit of transactions that make bitcoin impossible for mainstream everyday adoption.

But buying it has been very difficult until rather recently. Right now you can buy it with Kraken, usd straight to monero, and use a ledger nano hardware wallet to keep it secure.

Ledger is a woke company but ledger and Trazor are the only ones who offer a hardware wallet compatible with monero, and unless you want to spend over $100 for one then Ledger is your best bet.

Yes, I like Monero as well. Have not yet bought any directly with USD, thanks for the tip about Kraken. I have a Coinomi multi-coin wallet where I keep some working balances, and it is quite easy to exchange to/from Monero using Coinomi. Trezor is my choice for long-term storage.
