Wipe her with a slightly damp washcloth, especially areas that are hard to reach, like her head and neck. Brush her with a soft boar bristle brush, plastic or metal ones are too rough.

Cats don’t do well with changes in home or routine, she’s just not adjusting well, which is normal. The important thing is that someone is caring for her. She’ll become comfortable with you in time. Then she’ll love you and forget about her old home.

That is a really good suggestion, I have only ever brushed cats with the metal ones before, but she already seems to have some sort of dandruff/dermatitis, so I was worried about irritating her skin, but a soft brush would work perfectly.

She is a really good cat, she never hisses or tries to bite/scratch me, she just yells like occasionally, like she is pissed off and confused. I don't blame the old girl.
