Having a hard time dealing with such an old cat, who is such a lovely creature. I took her from her home about a week ago, and she constantly whines about it. Her owners are old family friends of mine, slightly older than my parents. Two old intellectual boomers who never got married, not that I blame them for that. But they both gave into their idiosyncratic tendancies as they got older. The man got older, and continued drinking (again, can't blame him), while the woman got older and continued her habit of ordering shit off ebay. And now Bill has had a couple of strokes, while Patsy will shortly be having her hip replaced. Their house is close to the level of a hoarder. Actually, it might be at the level of a hoarder. The only reason I say it might not be, is because I have seen much, much worse in my career. But the cat, old and vile and angry... It is a good cat. I like it very much, despite the fact it yells at me. Good Kitty.
