That's bs, plenty of European countries have lots of street cats and keep them unchecked. The only species that are missing is rats, mice and other vermin.

Rats and vermin are one thing but birds and other non pest animals are also like by then, often to extinction. But hey, anything can be argued as bullshit. I am sure those countries haven't had any animals that wild cats hunt fall to alarming levels.
