I'm in California presently and plan to move to Texas soon. I homeschool and plan to move to lTexas because of their homeschool laws. I read about this horrific incident when it occurred but haven't followed it much since.
However, if my kid was at that school when this incident occurred, I'd have done the same thing as that mom. I have one kid and I protect her with my life. But, again, my daughter wouldn't be in that situation to begin with because I don't trust the public school system and I'm a helicopter mom.

It’s was a drill. They were looking for crisis actors and law enforcement to perform a recorded drill at a school that has been shut down for years. Fuck this thing.
