Ok, so. Humor me then. Why do rich people ALWAYS have gas stoves? Why do the best restaurants cook with gas and I don't hear about an epidemic of cooks dying being in a kitchen for 10/hr a day?

I suppose if your house was airtight and you were cooking 12 hours a day it could be harmful, but I'm just a stupid bird wtf do I know.

Exactly. The old '50s and 60s' open flame, unvented Heaters shortened lives, but the idea that cooking with a gas stove is a valid 'harmful' concern is pure BS.
