Depends on the circumstances. Make it meaningful. For instance, I found a puppy in the vineyards behind my home, near death, dehydrated, full of infection, ripped up all over her body from either coyotes or other animals. Took her home and started trying to save and rehabilitate. For several days, my husband or I would pick her up and take her outside to pee (because she was too weak to walk). Every time, we would ask each other, "Did she pee?" For three days, the response was, "No, no pee." She eventually recovered and is a GREAT canine. Her name? Nopee. Because she had no pee for so long, lol. I have many other examples of naming pets. Point is, make it meaningful to you :)
