I love plane stuff and sub on YouTube to a few channels that cover exciting ATC and the like. The mainstream is picking up more on it. It seems like there are more major maintenance issues than previously but the mainstream is definitely reporting on it more.
There have always been engine issues, hydraulic issues, bird strikes, bad weather, etc. But wheels and panels flying off are definitely new.
