I'm thinking the same thing: this is a psyop. There's no way this many "events" happen on the heels of each other.

Total system failure would indicate a power loss, at least to the portion feeding the pilot.

The computers in a large jet are smart enough to fly themselves, chances are it came back with autopilot mode engaged (it probably was before it went offline) and it just did what it was supposed to do - brought itself about and kept going.
