I lived in NZ for 10 years in the 80s, then a year in Oz. Went back to Oz for a year in 2003. Amazing that some of the people I knew just rolled over and didn't put up a struggle. They were always into unions. When I worked in NZ I was required to join a union, anybody that was an 'employee' had to belong to a union.
