Yeah it's a failure, and there's an even bigger failure, it's to think that as long as you have gun ownership everything isn't so bad, that's called a pacifier in my book

Self defense laws and gun ownership rights in germany are pretty strong, gun ownership in south africa is also a thing

Yep. Just pointing out that "willingly" disarming yourself is probably one of the dumbest things you could do and a lot of people seem to be hell bent on doing just that.
