It's going to cost much more than that. These guys don't even know how much additional transmission line they need, so they can't even cost it... and they expect it to be finished by 2030. It's government work... it won't even be costed by 2030, and even when it is costed, it will actually cost at least twice as much. As for the generation capacity. They admit that their plan relies on technologies that haven't even been invented, that they assume will be invented and they somehow know how much these imaginary technologies. It will cost trillions. It's supposed to cost trillions, the more the "better", because the primary goal of the energy transition is to simultaneously drain the accumulated wealth of Western countries while also destroying their energy infrastructure. Western countries have gone mad (at the government level) and are killing themselves. No prizes for who is behind all this.
