Much of the cost of the flooding can be laid at the feet of the "Climate Council", headed by the magnanimous dipshit Tim Flannery. Their relentless promotion of the idea that it would never rain again in Australia and that even if it did, the dams would never fill, lead to gross mismanagement of catchments and chronic neglect of flood mitigation measures. These fucking drongos should be tarred and feathered for what they've done, and the idiot politician who mindlessly believed them.
