I heard a rumor today that the AEC basically ignored the primary votes of all but ALP and LNP in the recent election.

The story is that they did not even count primary votes for 3rd party candidates, and just counted ALP/LNP and took second preferences from the 3rd party candidates.

has anyone else heard this? what did you hear? do you have sources? I will post any I find if I do.

Max Igan's most recent video has audio evidence of government fuckery (recorded phone calls) of confused citizens being told to fill out their ballots incorrectly. Not exactly what you are curious about but very close.
