That's the approximate region of the new North or South Pole after the pole shift, currently underway. Both the magnetic North and South poles are moving at an accelerating rate to meet and merge together near that area.
What happens after that is anyone's guess.

Why yes, yes they do.
The worse case scenario's are end times bad.
Best case scenario, the magnetic poles continue their movement eventually to return to the pole positions, with opposite polarity.
Worse case scenario, the planet itself does a 90 degree flip, moving the equator to the poles, and the poles to the equator.
Meanwhile, the wind and the water are still spinning sideways, at 1400 kph. So that's wind, and oceans, moving sideways across continents, at the speed of sound.
