"Why don't y'all Aussies defend your second amendment in your constitution?" is a common piece of advice passed down from on high to a typically puzzled Australian, who is then expected to express some kind of gratitude since they were given such valuable advice for free.

The second amendment posts are trolls to jab you for giving up your guns. The other message is to signal other Americans not to give up their rights like the Australians. It is nothing personal, Australia is just the example of what happens when the people of a free country give up their ability to resist government tyranny.
