Although they are promising the unvaxxed will get the same priveleges as the vaxxed come December, they are not to be believed. They have lied and lied and moved goal posts the entire year and a half. First of all, their 90% vaccination figure for Sydney and 80% for Melbourne is dubious and could just be another lie in their string of noble lies. I'm really looking forward to news and anecdotes from small businesses as they can give a true indication of this 90% vaccination rate. If businesses a month or two from now start complaining of 40-60% drop in business, that would be strong evidence of this 90% number being bullshit. I hope our fellow Aussies are not this majorly stupid to be vaxxed massively. I await economic reports, which cannot be fudge by the central planners. If the 90% figure is a lie to get the easily-social-pressured to get the vaxx ("ooh everybody is getting it, don't want to be the odd one out and will get vaxxed"), then more coercive measures are needed for the headstrong. It's already on the front page how other countries are using withholding of salaries and banning from essentials stores like groceries to get the headstrong to comply.
