The cynic in me says the OP's sob story is as fake as the stories in those letters that charities send out.

It sure does sound like that to me too. "REEEE hospitals are flooded and can't handle the load! REEEEEEEEEEE the workers are overworked! This evil man must be stopped from making things worse"

Every time I have been at the local hospitals for testing in the past 1.5 years they have been ghost towns. I have to use two different ones and at one there was one other person there when in the past the whole room was full. Basically this is like everything the else the media says: the exact opposite is the truth.
I don't think they use logic, the only thing they care about is worship of their authority.
