Faking the GPS service is pretty simple to do as well as taking a picture of a picture. I'm sure the developers didn't do any sort of remediation on verifying the GPS coordinates or picture. After all, this is a government contract we're talking about.

See this "flaw" in the app will be used to justify straight GPS injections into people, under the guise of public health. Then the true mark will be in people, the one with their ID, credit card, health info, etc. Also comes with a convenient ticket system based off geolocation market.
They should have just skipped the graphene spike protein shot and gone straight for the mark. People would love it! After all, people freak out if they're more that 5 feet away from their phones. The mark ensures they're always online.
