In the article, Joe goes overboard and says that even people who have been advised to wait for Pfizer availability (only AZ is in ample supply in Australia right now) are not decent people since they should have given in to taking the widely available AZ vaccine by now.
Judging by some of the comments in the original article, he's done a fantastic job of alienating a lot of Aussie pro-vax reddit-types who have a hard-on for Pfizer and the Labor party coming to rescue them from fascist ScoMo at the next federal election. They are now "no longer decent member of society". LOL.
Anyway, I've been trying to figure out who the fuck this Joe Hildebrand guy actually is and why the media attaches such importance to him. It seems like he came out of nowhere a few years back and now we're expected to start praising him whenever he appears on TV. He moderated the election debate back in 2016 in his obnoxious manner, and I recall that Malcolm Turnbull made an extra-special point of asking the audience to give Joe special applause at the end of the debate "for doing such a good job" of hosting the debate. Then, of course, Turnbull won the election.
