Haven't been able to read it, but that is so strange. Only the 4th time I've encountered a page behind a paywall that wouldn't archive so others can read it (I archive 2 to 10 different sites a day for last 2 years). I tried 3 different archive sites as well.

Not for this one. I don't know what the method I use is called, but I can usually block all redirects to subscription pages or sometimes it's as simple as blocking elements such as over layed graphics, gifs, images, or what not
