I'll amuse myself later on browsing through social media looking for outage comments about "Captain Cook invading Australia!" Or maybe it will put me in a sour mood.

The lack of knowledge of Australian history is shocking. As is the lack of sympathy for convicts, forcibly ripped from their homeland.

Another interesting aspect of those convicts is most were petty criminals. The worst crims stayed in the Uk and whos ancestors later became part of the Establishment.

For indigenous Australians, Australia Day marks the start of white colonisation and persecution, including dozens of massacres throughout the 19th and early 20th centuries.

Lets be clear, nomadic hunters would poach penned domestic livestock which directly inhibited colonialist's ability to feed themselves.

The worst thing ever done was China Rudd's national apology campaign.
