To many Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people this is recognised as the day the dispossession and marginalisation of Indigenous Australians began and is affiliated with a long history of violence and trauma.

No, there were some Africans in Australia's early days. There are different historical sources.
Europe did have some black people - that is NOT to say they were as numerous as outfits as the BBC would have you believe, but there were some. Queen Elizabeth I, Good Queen Bess, even expelled 500 Africans from England because they were taking employment away from Englishmen.
Of course everything is bastardised now, with shows such as Bridgerton showing black Dukes and Duchesses etc and even Queen Charlotte as a nog.
There was even a black man involved in the Cato Street Conspiracy of 1820 -
