*facepalm

Breathing through fabric all the time is not only filthy but also reduces the amount of oxygen getting to your brain. Reduce is enough and you pass out.

When you get viral pneumonia (and you will get if by wearing a piece of cloth over your face for extended durations) will you still ask permission to take it off as you slowly deny your body oxygen until you die ?

Or are you going to take back your government and set these mother fuckers ablaze

I'm seriously starting to wonder if 90% of the population is a lost cause at this point...

[–] 2 pts

Yes. But that's been true since ever, but it's okay. Controlling the NPCs is the second feature of government, the first is controlling the violence in a given geography.

If you control the violence and the easily herded civilians, you are the government.

The fun starts when you start asking yourself if the 90% was ever useful for anything other than debt creation.

What do you think the purpose of all those wars and conflicts were? Those countries weren't sending their dumbest to fight.

Why would you get viral pneumonia from a mask? It makes us all look bad if you say this stuf in public.

There actually was a fatal accident at a Melbourne shopping strip last year. The elderly driver was masked and it was spectaculated he may have felt faint. (Masks weren't mandatory at that stage.)

Then Melbourne went into our notorious lockdown and mask wearing became a religion. That incident is now memory holed.

I know alot of elderly are getting breathless wearing masks.

Boomers are the main target, here. The cost of keeping them alive into their 90s is enough to bankrupt the planet.

But the damn things (sars-2) aren't deadly enough.

Yeaahhh I figured they will try to cover it up, then use it when they can get the most out of it - probably to ban us driving all together. Thanks mate, didn't know about that one in Melbourne. Had heard about a few in the US but not here.

I wonder how doctors manage to wear them all the time then.

[–] 3 pts

Before covid - none. In my 15 years as a nurse and a paramedic I never once had to wear a mask. Now - A lot of them are getting sick... they say it's covid, but it's more likely they are catching pneumonia, pleurisy, sinus infections, etc. from wearing masks all the time.

[–] -1 pt

You're a nurse, not a doctor.

[–] 2 pts

Pretty sure doctors and surgeons swap out their masks for new ones between every patient. And when they aren't operating, they aren't wearing them.

[–] 1 pt

And when they are wearing them and operating, the rooms get extra oxygen to compensate for the bad air quality due to the mask.

But studies testing the efficacy of masks in a surgical theater show that mask-wearing increases the risk of post-op infection, though not greatly.

[–] 0 pt

Then do the same.

Doctors do not wear them all the time, and when they do, they change masks frequently. Why? Because of germs. Bacteria. Because they're filthy things.

Any honest doctor will tell you they are against extended mask wearing. One of my brothers told me recently he saw a man take off his mask, wipe his sweaty face with it, then put it back on.

Masks are disgusting things. You know you are not supposed to touch them once on, you're not supposed to put them in your pocket or handbag... guess why.

[–] -1 pt

If your mask stinks just from breathing, you obviously have bad breath. OR! You're talking shit. lmao

[–] 1 pt

Because they wear them only when they're doing surgery and as soon as the surgery is done they take it off.

[–] 0 pt

Before this year they didn’t wear them longer for an hour or so at MAX. And that’s for surgeons. Most doctors wouldn’t have them on for longer than ten minutes.

I bet you wonder about a lot of things. Life is pretty mysterious to you, I'd imagine. That's why you need government to do your thinking for you.

[–] -1 pt

How is the government thinking for me?
