One more holiday to lockdown or cancel so expect more cases to appear prior to Australia day. Its just coincidence though.

Victoria has already cancelled Australia Day. Chinese New Year is fine, you can't get covid from chinx.

Duhhh obviously look at Wuhan covids all but a distant memory there
