definitely true - friend owns a recruitment company and he only wants people placed for a max of 6 months - they get a subsidy from the government after the person is employed for 3 months at a job they place them in, so if they keep getting them new jobs they can keep collecting the subsidy. It's a hell of a rort - the recruiters he employs are pulling $30,000 a month in wages.
