The Stephen Fry and the Jim Dale versions are widely available on torrents, no need to access new versions. Both of the aforementioned are entertaining and worth listening to if you enjoy that sort of stuff.

I'd wanted to give it a chance just because a full cast narration sounded interesting, but as soon as Poppy opened her mouth and a voice deeper than mine came out I noped out and refunded all of the preorders

That's fair! We even listened through the Steven Fry version once, but it wasn't the same.

It took me a while to enjoy the Stephen Fry version because he doesn't do voices but it's really great, just different than Jim Dale's.

Jim Dale's "moaning myrtle" totally cracks me up.
