Well, torrenting is the best.
Every time I see or hear of a book I am interested in, I add it to my Goodreads. Then I see, in Goodreads, if there is an audiobook of that book. Then I use the built-in search in qBittorrent to search for the audiobook. I have the "jackett" torrent-search addon, so that supercharges my torrent searches, including searching audiobookbay.nl.
The simpler (torrenting) version is just to download torrents from audiobookbay.nl
A distant second are: * youtube: There are thousands of audiobooks on youtube, with just a single image while someone reads * the archive sites, like archive.is, archive.org.
I virtually never listen to libravox recordings as they are, nearly always, terribly done.
