DAMMIT!!! I woke up about two hours ago, and just now saw this, only to run outside to a perfectly clear sky where the moon has already set. And I've been looking forward to this for weeks now.

Yes, and I forgot this morning. Seeing this reminded me of it. In 2017 there was a total solar eclipse, I was right outside the totality zone and it was predicted to be cloudy 100 miles away where the totality was visible so I didn't go. But that afternoon I glanced out the window and everything looked odd, like it was lit by a fluorescent tube. It took me a few moments to remember THE ECLIPSE! and went out to project the image onto the hood of my white car through binoculars and take a pic of it.
