As a caveat, I have to say that I don't really find Left/Right to be most accurate or effective way to describe politics, however it is useful for what I'm about to say.

I've been seeing more and more with the recent(past ~2 years) climax of gun grabbing and accompanying hysteria more and more on public forums are straight pissed off. On Youtube, TFB, other gun blogs, etc. people are openly saying that they will use force to resist gun confiscation measures. It's only really in the past few months that I've seen the public consensus fall into this mindset. I've seen people openly quoting Jefferson with his Tree of Liberty statement. These people are by and large getting majority support from any gun related outlets online. People on the "Right" seem like they're getting pretty sick of the slow boil. Seem like they're aware of the death of liberty by 1000 cuts. Like they're anxious for shit to jump off. Like they just want the conflict to happen already.

With the way things are escalating will we see extensive political violence in the USA from the Right? We already see fairly common, if low-level violence from the Left, but those on the Right seem to understand that it's the politicians and bankers who are making these anti-freedom policies. Those on the Right seem to have slightly more effective plans than whatever the equivalent of "punch-a-nazi" would be. I think that violence from the Right would be far more organized and disruptive than Left violence. If people do start getting violent, I would expect major police state crackdowns. Hard and fast.

Ideas?

Most of the time it seems like pie-in-the-sky dreams that will never come to fruition. But I've grown tired of complaining about symptoms, and have turned my frustration to something more constructive, planning actual solutions.

This is what brings out the best in men. Keep at it.
