I have a lot of tools for a lot of different jobs. I have multiple tool boxes. Each tool box is for a different job or task. Top to bottom is most used vs size. Sometimes a commonly used tool is too big to fit up top, so it goes in the top most drawer that fits it. I also have favorites within my tools, really nothing special about them. Just an emotional connection to it. Those are on the left side of the drawer. My thinking to all this is I read left to right, top to bottom.
