But some of my writing is actually quite decent.

And all the while, I've been working these shitty menial jobs that don't really pay shit. Barback, bartender, server, moving man. I continue to work these jobs that break my back, and occasionally crush my soul.

And I don't want to get rich off of writing. That is clearly not an option.

But I would like to do better than paycheck to paycheck. And I would like to fund other projects down the line.

And I think I can be a good enough writer to do it.

My question to you, is this: How do I monetize my writing without being a begging little faggot?

I was thinking about starting a blog with a crypto donation option, or going through patreon, but all options sound gay at this point.

Money, and the want of it, is inherently distasteful. And I hate the fact that I need it. Asking for it makes me feel like the most shameless Jew.

So my question is, is there any way to do it tastefully?

Thanks, and Regards,

Either get little copywriting gigs (like fiverr) and write someone else's shit, with your own flavor... or write your own shit and 1) hope some faggots out there appreciate it enough to buy it, and spread the word to their friends, or 2) create the faggots' demand somehow and then provide what they crave.

Street poet/writer? Take drunk hipster money.

Get a small following and auction the opportunity to select a topic/form/challenge for you.

See what it'd take to teach writing workshops at night or on weekends.

Offer to ghostwrite heartfelt shit in dollar store greeting cards or whatever.

Get in on some community mural painting project and write a poem for some other starving artist to paint.

Bum a ride on a booth in a farmer's market offering to write while yuppies shop, in return give the booth sharer a cut or maybe they'll see it drives their egg sales or wood carving sales.

I mean it does suck that we need money but we all do. If you think you can make money off of your writing then charge for it unashamedly. You need money, you have a skill, if people want to pay for that skill let them.

I think I just thought of a way to monetize my skills while still writing everyone free short stories and poems.

Web seriel? Give away a couple chapters a week. Get exposure. Money will follow

So I suppose my greatest desire is simply to run parallel writing campaigns.

All of my writing should always be be free, because I think all written word must be free.

So I'll just post it all here, for all to read.

Then I start a blog, where I post all the same shit, and just ask for tips, like the bartender I am.

Thanks. That sounds like the perfect solution.

You're right, the concept of copyright was invented by the Jew. Aside from tips, the legitimate way to monetize a creative work is to get paid for doing the work, not for the product of it. Maybe you could find an already existing publication that pays regular contributors for poetry/stories. Or you could publish yourself by making a blog with some ad space for revenue and use your writing to get views. Just don't make the ads too intrusive.

I feel you bro. I hate applying for jobs.

Funny another poster mentioned Fiverr, I was just looking into it last week. My background is in Comms and I worked for private companies and civil service orgs for decades doing jobs that involved writing and translation. It paid very well (over double the average national salary) and i loved the writing/translating part and hated everything else. Five years ago, I quit and started working for myself. It is virtually impossible to find good gigs because no one values experience, they just get a kid to do a mediocre job and pay them peanuts. I was lucky enough to find an agency that gives me enough translation work to keep me busy full time on a self employed basis and these have been the most satisfying years of my life (in terms of employment).I earn half what I used to and work twice as hard, but it's ok as I don't need to earn so much anymore since I already paid my house off when I was earning big bucks. So what I want to say is- I have a feeling you are very talented. I deeply regret wasting decades of my life being unhappy. I wish I had made the change long ago. Nothing beats doing what you love every day. It doesn't even feel like work, it's just pure enjoyment. So maybe you can find agencies you can write for on the side and if it takes off, you may be able to ditch the menial jobs. Proz is a great resource for translators and there must be something similar for writers. People discuss which agencies are good to work for, which ones don't pay, etc.

A book fag that I know talked to an author about this once and the advice given is applicable to any artistic endeavor. Post shit. Get a social media account. Get on patrean or whatever. The net is so vast you will eventually get some people to donate. If homoerotic literature between Dumbledore and the smurfs can get followers, so can your writing. I look forward to reading some of it.

I'd start a blog. It's good to have multiple mediums to expose your work to others.

Blogs are nice because they're easy to access and follow. You can build a following organically that way. Plus you can pick up a few bucks here and there with a crypto donation option.

Networking is key. This is where social media can come into play. But, you don't strike me as the kind of faggot who wants to sell their information away and be thought-restricted (as you would be using any major social media platform). Use something like subscribestar instead of patreon, if you end up going down that route.

Alt tech is your friend. Get on gab, bitchute/etc. so others can reach you on platforms that don't censor the shit out of people (yet)

gun + a mask you do the math...

I have 135 posts on my blog and 0 Patreon supporters. I wrote a book and have made like $40 off of it in two years. Or three years? I can't remember.

It's pretty tough. I'm sure there's a way, but not an easy market.

Maybe try niche erotica for Kindle? But it could have subtle pro-white tones.
