I left because everyone in the comments acted like clones. Everyone there holds the same opinions and acts the same way, especially when it came to politics. Pretty much any right wing opinion (not wanting gun control, for example) will always get downvoted to oblivion (if not censored or autoremoved by moderators) and you'll be called, and I quote, "a racist, homophobic, sexist, alt-right incel" every single time. I can't think of a time I saw some other insult that didn't include those words in it. Because of their toxic reactions to controversial yet unharmful opinions, it is impossible to have respectful discussion in any way, shape, or form. Plenty of websites have this problem, but reddit is the one I've had the most experience with when it comes to toxic behavior.

Their likes include: Marvel, left wing politics, Keanu Reeves, Marvel meme formats, holding reddit as the best platform ever, being elitist, Thanos, posting fake sob stories with 40k upvotes, Marvel movies, Marvel dialog, quoting marvel movies in the comments, quoting movies in the comments, 420, 69, someone stating their opinions, gun control, communism, socialism, anti trump posts, anti conservative posts, woke culture, climate change, SJW propaganda, anti free speech, etc. Now imagine going against these likes in any way. Sometimes, the moderators lock threads when too many people think for themselves and make different comments.

Not to mention a ton of subs are constantly banned for small reasons. If you go to r/reclassified they're always banned for "violent" content, or when a single moderator gets banned, or if they're anti trans, a satirical sub, etc. It's absolutely mind boggling that r/bruhfunny is quarantined because ONE USER doxxed someone, whereas redditors promote self harm and advocate for death threats.

I occasionally go to some niche, small subs for memes or something, but that's it. It's a compilation of all the most heinous flaws in text based communication. I've had more intelligent, thoughtful, and respectful conversations on freaking r/okaybuddyretard than the entirety of reddit. In my opinion, reddit should be given constant negative attention on Youtube and the news and obsessively criticized so they can feel inferior to everyone else
