One time when I was 16/17 and hiking I saved a girl from falling off a cliff.

It was benign at the time. I was below and she trip and I caught her. I didn’t think anything of it at the time except “Christ be more careful”

Didn’t know her don’t remember her name.

What are you here for? Idk what’s left for me. Maybe I should get out more.

That's an unusual question.

Hmm...

You know how Manakin Skywalker was created by the force directly in order to do some vague propecy and make six films? I figure it's a bit like that, only instead of the force, it was alcohol's fault, and instead of six films, it's several thousand incoherent and vaguely angry rants.

There's also no prophecy, only a vague and pervasive sense of disappointment with the world.

I suppose what I'm getting at is that I don't really put much stock in this whole "meaning of life" thing. I think it's a canard, or maybe a cleverly designed philosophical bear-trap. Distracts from the existing, and we've no shortage of distractions as it is. It's said that any man who questions the truth of a self-evident thing is a knave, so what's the point in wondering why we're here, when it's pretty obvious that we are.

So we'd best get on with it.
