I don't think it's about winning or losing, it's about the friends you make along the way. That being said, I'm not certain this battle boils down to right vs left. It boils down to awareness, and the willingness you have to examine certain uncomfortable truths. Are you willing to have an open mind, that perhaps question standard doctorine related to certain religions and races? Do you think Facebook is free platform for online discussion? Do you think Google gives you a free search engine out of the kindness of their hearts? Does Netflix seek solely to provide quality entertainment at a reasonable monthly price? Or are certain people out there to manipulate your opinions in a malicious, organized way? Saying the right/left paradigm is an illusion sounds pretty cliche at this point, but I think it is more true than many of us would like to admit. After all, the mainstream right and the mainstream left both support Israel.
