If I show only my own words in a private conversation, is that a breech of privacy?

Edit: The person I showed my words to was going to ask the person I was PMing what I said anyway.

I'll apologize and not repeat this mistake. I didn't say anything awful, but this does suggest I'd make private conversations less so.

If you weren't meaning any ill towards anyone and were being sincere in whatever you were doing, you should be able to explain why you did what you did without the other person losing any trust in future conversations.

People can sense sincerity. If they're worth it, they'll forgive and forget <3
