My mother had a rule about life. If something goes wrong in life like losing a job or having a car wreck, then take 24 hours to process and grieve and then move forward.

In the last 48 hours, I have had two notifications saying that the companies I had applied to were moving "in a different direction," and "We do not have the demand for your services." I asked out a girl I had been observing for eight months. She said "I am declining the offer." (Yeah, exact words.)

So, I can wallow in self pity. Or I can move forward.

I can have a different outlook on life. Those are two places of employment that I need not apply to again and "Great. I just saved a bunch of money in gas and food bills."

September 4th is the next career fair. Time to print off more resumes.

Thought about giving more than 2 weeks notice, as I quit my job [that I really love]. Didn't [gave only 2], so I can close this chapter and get on to the next.

I'm moving forward by forgiving. It makes things easier.

i was told forgiveness is for yourself, not for anyone else.

It can be for both or one person. I like to do it for both myself and another though. If my forgiveness won't have any worth to someone else, I'll just forget the person rather than forgive.
