Brakes, Oil Change, Spark Plugs (ignition coils, leads etc), air filters, easy shit etc. Basically anything I can do on a car in under 2 hours. I'll pay people to do bigger stuff if I need the car back asap but have done a lot bigger jobs on secondary vehicles. It's even cheaper to buy the tools and do it yourself than to pay someone else to do that shit. Really... people pay others to change an air filter? LOL

Also... Pasta. (Goes back to my olive garden cringe post) Pasta isn't a meal, it's a side. I'm not gonna pay someone to boil noodles for me. Induction cooktop plus noodles has em ready in 7-8 minutes. Maybe if they were made from scratch (if they are you're in a super fancy place).

Most electrical and plumbing but only b/c I'm not a moron.

Now obviously, if I had a fuck ton of money I'd never do any of this shit. I'm comfortable but I still can't imagine paying $7-800 for spark plugs. Shit, there's a TV, Computer, and AC in my garage for a reason. LOL

I could think of some other shit probably. What do you refuse to pay others to do?

Also handjobs... I've got 2 of em besides the fact I'm married and devoted. Never really understood the whole "couple hundred dowwa" rub and tug scene.

It just depends if I have time, but I'm the same with a lot of what you mentioned. Or if it just too complicated. Sometimes you know whats wrong with something to where a professional will.

So it the time saved and throwing parts at something to where it makes sense to me.

there been a few things i payed labor/parts for like lawnmower, truck.... I think I might have them do my water pump too. It has been weeping and the seal, i just dont feel like doing it.

That really is the crux of the issue. Time/Value. When I see fat people on welfare that won't even change their own oil... that shit makes me angry. I'll never get mad about how people spend their money. I will get mad about how people spend mine (aka taxpayer).
