Artistic expression just exists. The reason those children were chosen in those roles is because they were talented and cute, not because they were 'sold' to some evil Hollywood producers. And you know why some of those kids went kind of crazy? It isn't because they were molested, it is because that much fame and attention can fuck up anyone at that age. I don't think childhood acting is healthy for any kid, but it isnt because they will get molested, but because all the attention and power will mess up their developing brains.
