I know state succession is against the law due to a Supreme Court ruling, but I still think that America could be broken up by a President willing to ignore that and just get sides to sit at a table to discuss land, population exchanges and dividing up the nuclear arsenal.
The people reading history always say Rome fell down from within. In the end of the day as modern as the United States is the nation can probably still be compared to the history of other powerful historical Empires. I always get the feel this is the biggest threat to the United States, corrupt internal BS politics or maybe toxic outside forces that have infiltrated like a Trojan horse. I'm not an American, but I've always liked the USA for its good things, I know there is no perfect place even learn to accept some of its less than perfect things in the US, I worked in the US a bit get along with many Americans still have friends in the USA but I'm not American, when I look I see from the outside. I don't think any nation can actually beat or invade the US on the traditional battlefield, Russia and China would be military rivals but nobody sane would enter a 'mutual assured destruction' event, the Europeans have some countries, nation states with tech that comes close to matching the US but they could only hope to give the USA a bloody nose, the USA to Europe is an ally, and Europe an ally of the USA even if they don't always agree so I don't see anyone crossing an ocean to defeat America, the USA would have to be infiltrated. Other troublesome people? Venezuela? you gotta be crazy? Iran, if they were stupid enough to do anything they USA could have their military power crippled and wrecked in 48 hrs. The only way America could be crippled is by spending endless treasure and endless lives in endless perpetual wars and/or twisted subversive toxic politics from within the United States itself putting red against blue, left against right to break the nation, maybe even a subversive religious doomsday group who wanted to attack or sabotage the USA from the inside. I dont see anyone crossing an ocean with battleships and tanks and hitting the USA, its not happening not for a long while but weakened and hit from the inside that is very possible.
Perhaps the most powerful weapon the US has is not just its arms but its right to free speech, is this what helped America avoid the horrors of both fascism and communism? Right now its possible a media has heated up a mob to hysteria levels, Trump derangement syndrome defined by both a conservative commentator on Fox Charles Krauthammer, and CNN's leftist Fareed Zakaria defined the syndrome as "hatred of President Trump so intense that it impairs people’s judgment." I feel freedom of speech is a great thing to have in your constitution, it is fine to criticize any world leader, any admin, any president should be questioned and even mocked but when some many of a mob are played and wound up like toys to scream out the same talking points in rants and screams of hysteria you feel there could be some media programming or 'brainwashing' going on here?
That said I don't think I agree too much with censorship unless there is something really spammy or criminal going on. For example I lurked here and seen you guys had a user 'HansWormhat' everything was a tranny conspiracy, there were animals who were not real FakeAnimals, a male celeb was female, a woman was a man or was 'HansWormhat' off the meds again? I don't know maybe you could do something with these shitty posts turn them into some dumb matrix scifi novel? The tranny investigation posts were annoying, dumb, maybe a source of amusement but as dumb as users/posts like this are were they grounds for censorship? I feel sometimes nations or politics is like this, on this Earth in each nation state, we already have rules and laws for people, once a group starts to add new rules as what is wrong it can become a very slippery slope with more loss of freedoms for the citizens, lesser freedom for law abiding individuals because of one single idiot.
I never really followed much media or politics, sometimes I would agree with their opinions but I mostly disagreed with it or it mostly bored me, but sometimes I would read news sometimes and sometimes follow some alternative or conspiracy blogs, different views from Constitutionalism groups or Libertarian types. There was no single 'talking head' person I followed, once in a while their words would stick with me. I remember a guy Russell Means he was in film/media and would appear on David Icke or Infowars or Fringe type shows, he was kind of radical in his youth but started to mellow out and have maybe a more wiser universal philosophy when older. Again he warned the only way America would fall is from the inside, there would forces trying to collapse the United States from the inside, people confused angry would go back into broken groups, the ghettos would come back, even rich Whites they would think they have their freedom with their walls and their green park without realizing everyone now is split up, locked inside their own reservation.
