Poal doesn't look for extension but mime type. Your image is a webp with a .jpg extension. You must convert it to jpg first.

Likely you ain’t posting a jpeg. It’s a webp which can have all sorts of tracking shit.

Often I’ll download a jpeg or jpg and it’s named nigger.jpg.webp

Open it local in what ever opens, and save as jpg or export as jpg.
