Does anyone do anything with fpv drones? I'm very intrigued with the long range micro fpv drones for tactical larping purposes. Ultimately I'd like to set up a little backpack kit with 1-2 drones, goggles, batteries, and an external viewer.
I already have a controller/radio coming but I'm kinda lost on the whole goggles front. I assume that whatever goggle you buy has to match the ecosystem of the video transmitter that the drone uses. What's the best out there for long range clear pictures?
The DJI stuff looks like it has the absolute best image quality, but it's a closed system and kinda hard to get due to tarriffs.
I thought about analog but the image quality is pretty dogshit, though the price point makes it kind of intriguing.
Given a $6-800 budget, what should I buy?
