When I was little, my boogie man was a black shadow in the shape of the black spy vs spy character minus the hat. I don't recall ever having seen this show as a kid, we were poor and only got what the rabbit ears brought us. Until a couple years ago I was pretty sure I saw a US Stamp upside down and some how it became a boogie man in my dreams. I finally outgrew setting up a perimeter of stuffed animals to protect me from these bad, black, pointy nosed villains after a long day out on a boat. As I fell asleep I began feeling like I was on the boat, rocking to and fro, and my mind envisioned the "spies" rocking me to sleep.

Now I find it pretty hilarious as a child my boogie men were evil, long nosed, hiding in the shadow "spies," and here I am as an adult, making a full circle...

xD

Oh wow, I haven't thought of him in ages.

I had this weird super real seeming nightmare, I had them a lot for awhile, but there was this one particularly scary guy thing. The first time I saw him, he was outside my window, just standing there. I only saw like a silhouette on the curtain or something, so I opened it, and there's giant brainoid guy. He had to be 9 or 10 feet tall to just casually be standing there at that level. Also, his head was just a brain; no face, no eyes, nothing. All pink and weird and gross and I guess without eyes he could not really be looking at me, but I felt his gaze!!

Dumb weird nonsensical nightmares. I bet he's a real guy, though.

This is pretty wild, imaginations as children are so neat!

Hah! I sure did not consider that to be neat at the time!

But yeah. I wonder where the fuck my imagination or subconscious dredged that weirdness up from?! Like some crazy fucked up previous life or the dimension of the cenobytes or something! Except this was from well before the Hellraiser movies came out... but still.
