Yeah, it's obvious to the most basic anthropologist that at the very least, humans didn't just decide to start talking, exchange ideas, and formulate towns only a couple thousand years ago. It would be more ridiculous to think the current idea of what I just said, rather than long lost civs.
I mean, homo sapiens have been anatomically the same for roughly 100,000 years, is the estimate. So the question is, if you could take a 85,000 year old human and raise them in our society, would they blend in? My guess is yes.
