No one knows dude. People can say what they want... but likely anyone who knows/is posting about the downtime is a fucking fed.
Voat's canary is gone, the website is gone. That is fucked. Where am I supposed to get my news/discussions with other like-minded individuals? I love this site but I feel like it is going to end up being more of the same.
I think it's inevitable that sites like Reddit, vaot, poal, digg, etc. will all fall away from their former glory.
But, that's why you keep in touch with the people you like (chat rooms, etc.) so when shit does go down, you can move to a new site with your buddies.
