They will take down that fan and replace with a pile of shit dc motor fan. That Hunter original cast iron is an oil bath ac current fan that will run for well over 100 years, is almost impervious to voltage spikes, and just works. I have 3 from the 70’s hanging in my new home. 3 bought brand new.
They current cost is that fan is 700-800$ It will out out as much wind as a big ass fan, and more than any fan that size (52”) and never do 5 blades on a hunter original, the 4 blade setup (it will do both) puts out more air.
