Me: divorced forty something practicing Orthofox earning good money in a bullshit field

Her: divorced late thirties practicing catholic but okay with Orthodoxy. Earning good money in legit field.

Together for four years. We have talked marriage but both "slow movers" cause of poor marriage choices in our youths.

All good until recently. She has never been very political and of the view of "is all bs." Recently she has become very anti ICE.

Her: "These are people just trying to make better lives."

Me: "I don't give a fuck. I have to pay for private school for my son because public sucks thanks to watering down for immigrants, look at the DHS 'worst of worst list..." (etc and so forth and obbious reasons)

We argue over that a lot. I'm tired of the argument.

We are great other than that.

She recognizes other races and "cultures" are less than whites, but seems to be bleeding heart on this hill that we need to be kind to "immigrsnts looking for better" and accommodate.

She's missing the fucking point.

Does she own property, or does she rent? Does she understand that taxes including property tax are forced from y'all to feed and house and school the invaders? Also, from what I've seen, the illegals just use school as free daycare and they don't give a crap about education. In Texas, they have their kids miss school on a Thursday, Friday, and Monday REGULARLY to drive back to mexico because it's always someone's birthday or wedding or funeral. Oh, and back home anywhere in latin America, they have to pay for school or the kid doesn't get the credits or their report card. "Better life" = scamming gibs from the US taxpayer.

She "owns" a nice condo that is nice but has little understanding that she doesn't actually own anything cause if she stops paying the condo fees they take it from her.

She does "own" it outright as in that she has no mortgage. But still has monthly (((confo fees))) and (((tax)))

I "own" my house in that I have no mortgage, but of course pay (((property taxes)))

Nothing wrong with association fees like that. These fees fund the capital reserve and operational budget. One for repairs to the building and grounds. The other for things like lawncare, trash removal, and in some cases the water bill. You'd pay all this as a homeowner as well. In a condo you're just paying into the association to take care of it instead of each bill yourself.
