Have some camera equipment that needs a good home - or any kind of home actually. To wit:

  1. Canon TX manual 35mm camera w/ 50mm f 1.8 FD lens (55mm threaded end);
  2. Canon 135mm f3.5 FD lens (52mm threaded end);
  3. Various filters w/ 55mm thread and a 52 to 55mm adapter so the filters can be used on either lens;
  4. Soligor 2x teleconvertor for Canon FD lens mounts; and...

...lots of accessories. Even have Papa Duck's circa 1950s handheld GE light meter powered by some sort of miraculous voodoo such that it doesn't require batteries. Magic I tell you!

Duckish rules apply. I'm not looking to make money off this - rather I'd just like to find it a home where it might be appreciated. To this end, we can work out a shipping arrangement somehow. Not looking to dox or stalk you - so feel free to have me ship it to your neighbor using an alias, to a PO box you already have or just use a nickname - whatever. For reference I've mailed shit to a couple faggots on this site before with no problems. I suffer from an appalling lack of curiosity regarding the problems and issues of others - got enough of my own.

If you'd like to be considered for this, do NOT respond here. Rather send me a PM with a short note. I doubt if there will be any competition on this (maybe no action at all), but include a short explanation about why you'd like it just in case I have to choose. We'll figure out shipping thereafter.

Give me a couple days to get all the gear dug out, and I'll post a pic too. And stay tuned - there'll likely be more vintage Duckish treasures listed.

It’s powered either by an amorphous solar cell, or a selenium cell.

Give that bird a cigar: Selenium cell!

I put it through it's paces today, and it seemed responsive and reasonable (me being 10+ years removed from any action with it). It has been stored in a cool place with desiccant and no harsh treatment. What are the chances the selenium cell is still providing accurate measurements?

eh....they do tend to degrade some over the years. It's probably close, but I don't know that I'd completely trust it.

So it's a toy then. Good to know - thanks!
