Did it come in straight, erupt through the gum completely and line up with the adjoining molar? If so - and it isn't giving you fits, leave it alone. Unless it is unpaired - i.e.: doesn't have a mate directly below it. As for removal..
Only a fool should attempt to self extract any tooth aside from baby teeth or the front incisors to canines - and the latter ones only under emergency conditions. The roots of molars and wisdom teeth can grow in many directions. If you inadvertently left a hunk of broken root in there after a home extraction, well it won't be pretty. Lots of people died from botched dental work back in the day, in addition to those who died from no dental work. If I were you and couldn't afford the extraction, I'd go rob a bank to pay for it before I'd attempt a DIY job. Oh, and get knocked out so you don't remember any of it.
Source: Herr Duck has had a LOT of molar and wisdom teeth extractions - most as the result of an accident, but the wisdom teeth on one side were impacted. The roots on one were so twisted, one point curved about 160 degrees. X-ray showed it. Opted to get knocked out for that one so it could be cut out. No regrets. The rest were for implants.
And if you decide to go ahead with it anyway, take lots of pics and make a post in before you die.
My 2c.

Wait, ducks have teeth? What's going on over that side of the pond?
Perhaps you knew my distant forebear of yore back in the Cretaceous era: Duckasaurus Rex - King of the Foiegrasosaurs? YUGE teeth to help protect their ginormous livers...

Yeah, wasn't seriously contemplating this, mainly asked for teh lulz. Mr. tooth has a defect that the dentist can't/won't fix. This has crept up in spite of good dental hygiene, the dentist says the wisdom teeth are often not as thoroughly mineralized as the rest of them.
Already had an appointment that I had to postpone because reasons. Now my calendar keeps reminding me to make a new one and I keep postponing that... :) My 20+ year dentist is closing up shop in about a half a year so want to get it done before then.
The last implant I had done, my 20+ year dentist retired and sold out to a jeet. So new dentist in mid stream. Found a good one in an all white practice, and she used some newer tech that is actually better. Happy with the outcome.
Still want to see your vids...
