Honestly, I haven't done a ton of research on the topic, but I'm always wary of the government demanding to collect data on it's citizenry.

On the other hand, it's a good idea in that it would reduce illegal voting. Or at least, that's what they tell you.

Maybe I have a borked perspective, but I see certain MSM outlets like Fox pushing for VoterID super duper hard. But, why? What's the motication? Don't pretend to tell me it's because they care, because they don't. Fox is just as bad as CNN. Suck off Tucker all you want, he's still pushing an agenda for foreign billionaires.

So, what are your thoughts? Is VoterID a good idea? Is it just another agenda being pushed for a covertly nefarious purpose?

I am anti-government absolutely, defining government as any entity that claims authority over you without your consent.

Everything good that government might do can be done better by private contractual arrangements, without any NAP violations.

You might consider checking out Hans-Herman Hoppe. https://poal.co/s/hoppeanism is based on him, but the sub seems to be leaning more into an edgy nazi theme now and I think that detracts from the core message of what Hoppe teaches.

I am anti-government myself. Mainly for the reason you stated, that private industry can do a better job at whatever the government is trying to do.

The only exception being providing for a national military, I suppose. Would you be cool with a constitutional federal government (meaning they literally only do what they were originally supposed to: ensure the right sof the citizenry are not infringed, provide for military, secure boarder) in order to provide for a military? Or do you have other ideas about how to secure a nation against foreign invaders?

What the modern idea of government was originally supposed to do was provide a kiked, illegitimate alternative to monarchies, and it's still fulfilling that role very well. Monarchy is a natural result of private property rights - a legitimate king is simply a very wealthy private property owner. Learn about feudalism. Vassalage relationships (King - lords -serfs) are created contractually and are therefore consensual and legitimate. Except there's one thing they fucked up in the middle ages - the notion that the detriments of such a contract (contract slavery - serf status) can be inherited. This is wrong because it violates the consent of the heir of that status - 2nd+ generation serfs were effectively born into slavery. This is the fundamental cause of the general discontent that was exploited by the Rothschilds to incite the French Revolution and all the revolutions that followed, to overthrow the European monarchies.

Monarchy allows for centralisation of power (without NAP violation), which allows for the kind of strong, centrally commanded military that you seem to think is necessary. However, unlike a system with temporary rulers, this disincentivizes abuse of power because the person in power would be fucking with his own private property, which his children will inherit.
